I have to say, first off, that OI love this book. The pictures and the stories are beautiful and interesting. The only thing I was disappointed with was the size. I was expecting something bigger and, perhaps, thicker. But, even still, I would recommend this book to anybody who is wondering about steampunk in its many forms.

I was expecting more art pieces. I was hoping more Jules Verne like.
The book is a mite on the thin side, but what there is, is beautiful. A range of steampunk artisans is showcased, and the photographs are beautiful. The artworks make for an interesting subject matter anyway, and the information about the objects, their creators, and the ethic that drives Steampunk is good as an introduction to the genre as well as providing rich detail for afficionados. Definitely recommended.

Beautifully organizing the international collection of the leading steampunk artists including the author, this book highlights the exciting designs of the most widely sold out and well attended exhibit in the history of the Museum of the History of Science at Oxford. This book is such a joy to own and share.
No complaints
There is a need, by this website, for the individual to write more words than are needed. But this is one time when extra words do not work. Steampunk is a life choice, a life style and an option that provides a freedom. I embrace this freedom!
