This is a fun book to read and lots of cool projects to try out. I like the thought of Trash origami because it has to do with recycled items that are flat. I found this book at my local library. The included DVD IS EXCELLENT! I had been learning on YouTube, but I missed some of the important details. This book and DVD made all of the folds and techniques clear. I highly recommend it!
Espically like the photo cube Great ideas to keep Children busy on rainy and no school days. Good for keeping the mind active and thinking for seniors. Video well done and easy to understand use pause to follow step by step folding...
I checked this out of my local library. Started reading it, and did the first project in the book. I could immediately see the possiblities of this book, so, I ordered from , pronto. Save all that junk paper! Recycle!
Lots of different models to fold, some are challenging and some are suitable for beginners. Go origami crazy and recycle at the same time
I borrowed this book from our local library and love it. I need to get my own personal copy. I have been doing origami for years, and like finding easy models I have never seen before. So far, my favorite is the Calendar Wreath but many others also look interesting.
There is no better way to fold paper then to use and recycle what we already have. My daughter really got a kick out of this gift even though she really wasn't into origami. There is no end to the what a person can do with paper and this wonderful book of ideas to use trash was just a start to the possibilities that one could create.
I suppose that origami pros might fine this book too basic, but for beginners and novices it is a good learning tool. I like the vivid color photos and the drawings for the folding instructions. The added DVD made it worth the price for me.
