I have to say that this book was one of my favorite reads. I was drawn in from the first page and just couldn't get enough. If I pick up a book and I can't "see" the characters, I lose interest. That did not happen with Love AND Revenge. I felt everything that they felt. I loved the characters and what they meant to each other. I loved the suspense that surrounded them. This story stayed with me for days after the last page. I am looking forward to more!!!!!
Oh what a great read! This book starts off with a bang and keeps the thrills coming! The third in the series and full of adventure! Kept me on the edge of my seat and reading as fast as I could. This story entwines with stories one and two and has all the emotion that those stories have. A Great read!!
I started with Emma and Jack in Love and Leaving and fell in love, and they are back in this story. They aren’t the main characters this time, but they still have a significant presence in the storyline. Maddie, Seamus, and Maddie’s brother Devon are the prominent characters this time. Like the other reviewers are saying, this book is edge of your seat action almost the whole way through. Maddie is strong but vulnerable, human. She’s imperfect, and makes mistakes, but she’s not inept. And she fights for her life and love. Seamus gets thrown for a loop, but he has a single minded determination that moved me. He suffers fear and guilt, but he keeps doing what he thinks he is best. Devon’s relationship with his sister is so heartfelt and close. Made me want a brother.

The characters in this books are human, complex, alluring, and I cared what happened to them. I didn’t want the story to end. I am thrilled I still have the first book to go back and read!
In summary action packed adventures of the heart complicated by covert operations, or rather, action packed covert operations complicated by adventures of the heart. Whatever your preference, it is a wild, fun ride that reads very well.

Even though this book is the third in a series, don't worry, as it also stands well on its own. However, I take no responsibility if, after you read this story, you feel the sudden urge to binge read both books of back-story. Nope, I take no responsibility whatsoever for that very likely consequence.

One of the things I like most about this story in particular, aside from the almost non-stop action, is how playfully it explores just how helpful not "talking about the business" can be in romantic entanglements. But don't worry, the end will leave you cheering for more! Yea!
I've discovered my own little reader's Utopia with the Love And series by Mary Kate Kopec. I started with Book Three, Love and Revenge but it doesn't matter. Each book is a stand alone unit even though they contain recurring characters.

Love and Revenge has the right amount of steam to balance a fast paced plot. The relationship between Maddie and Seamus is filled with angst and passion, and Ms. Kopec demonstrates an uncanny ability to transfer those emotions to the reader. But her talent goes much deeper than penning a great romance. The real jewel in this series is the action packed plots that crash through your insides like a runaway roller coaster.

Maddie is the only woman ex-Navy Seal Seamus will ever love but she rejected his marriage proposal, so he is trying to move on - until old enemies use her as bait. That starts a riveting adventure that wraps you in its tentacles, squeezing all concept of time from your mind as you fly through the pages in search of resolution. Any book that can paint such vivid mental images, force my heart to beat a little faster and drive me to nibble my thumbnails to stubs, is a good book in my opinion.

Love and Revenge is an exceptional story, and part of an exceptional series. I'm finishing up Book One right now and can gleefully report, it's just as good!
Well written. Excitement. Suspense. The characters and their story touched my heart and made for an enjoyable read! Will read again!
This book has it all. Jump in to the excitement and see what happens.
